This is the card for the wonderful yarn shop that Siow Chin wrote about on her blog. I love this place and find something new everytime I go. And the set of 11 circular needles costs 38 RMB or about $4.75 US - gotta love that price!

Hi,
Thanks for the comment! I loved this yarn store. Hopefully, I'll be back in Beijing in the spring, and will get to do more exploring. Do let me know if you are ever in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong knitter have a few fun groups.

Can you tell me where this yarn shop is in English? I recently moved here and am about to have my first baby. Do you know if they have soft yarn to make a blanket or hat?
Thank you

I believe the English name is Wansha Cashmere.
it is located at 14-2 Dengshikou, between Dongsi Nandajie and Wangfujing. This is a bit north and west of the Dengshikou subway station.
I concur that the staff are pretty helpful, and I like the sharp bamboo needles here (although I bend them with use ...)
I have bought some 100% wool yarn here which I use for sock/baby projects. Bright colours are available.
