Apparently it was National Day in Sweden the other day - who knew?
My Mother always asks me what I am knitting, so today there is knitting project show and tell..
One of the many hats I have been cranking out using odds and ends of yarn. Very satisfying and quick.
Luke's cotton airplane cardigan that just will not end. I am over the cotton yarn.
Pair of manly socks. Wool and cashmere blend, these have also been around too long.
This is for my knitting friend here. She is leaving in a mere 2 weeks or so, so I better put this at the top of the knitting list. Feather and fan - how I have grown to hate thee!
And fun socks for me. I am going to try my best to knit up all my yarn before we move next summer - 19 more pairs of socks to be made! I hope I don't add to the stash too much this summer when we are back in the States...
So I have worried about Lukey-Luke and his issues....not walking upstairs the 'right' way at the 'right' time, not being able to pedal at the 'right' time, not writing his name by age 4. He is fine now, but all the worry!
Claire Bear is a different kid.
Here is some of her handiwork
She will be 3 in a week or so. She can pedal fast and run up and down the stairs with alternating feet. She is on track, on target and has met every single developmental milestone there is. No worry for her frazzled parents - yet!
Not much has been happening with us in KL lately. We go to the pool a lot, it rains most days for about 30 minutes and I try and do something crafty everyday.
I had been working on this sweater for a long while now and it is finally done and I love it. I am figuring out what to knit for myself next, in between more hats and socks.
