Kid socks made of leftovers from my 2nd pair of socks ever.
Socks for me made from Lorna's Lace 3x2 ribbing - a gift from my knitting friend, Grace.
Knitting projects left to do - clockwise - the never ending afghan made from Chinese wool/cashmere blend. I am so sick of this project and wise it would go away at this point. Retro-prep sweater - it has been on the needles for a while - like 4 + years. Cream cabled socks - almost 3/4 done. Noro scarf. And middle son's EZ yoke sweater. Since the photo I have done 1 1/2 sleeves, so the end is somewhat in sight.
And finally the toilet shot. This is one view outside our window. They are building a 4 stall/hole? toilet right out back for the migrant workers living in the construction site. The black tubs to the right are the water cisterns - they use a similar system for collecting bathing water.

Hello, Are you living in KL? We are considering moving there with our four children and I'm trying hard to contact other ex-pats. Any info would help!
Thanks,
Suzanne

Hi... my name is Kathy and I live in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I am visiting Bangkok, with my daughter, in January and would appreciate your advise on yarn shops. Following a thread from who knows where (you know how it goes on the web) led me to your delightful blog. I would appreciate the names of some yarn shops. Thanks.
